Academy · where to start
5 questions about where you are starting from, then one of 4 orders to read in. 36 pages in all, every one of them already on this site. Tick each as you read it; your place is kept on this device.
The four paths, in full
The same lists as above, laid out to read. A page that stands on two paths is the same page: tick it on one and it is ticked on the other.
For someone who has not traded and wants the ground before the detail.
For someone who knows the words and wants to read what a chart shows.
For someone who can read a quote and has not yet worked out size, margin and cost.
For someone who has done the arithmetic and wants to practise on the platform with virtual funds.
What this page keeps, and where
“Start over” on your path clears it, and so does clearing this site’s data in your browser. What else the site keeps on your device is listed at Display and privacy preferences.
The five questions are about what you have read and tried so far. There is no name, no e-mail address, no country and no question about money.
They are used once, in your browser, to suggest a path. They are not stored and nothing is sent to GIO4X.
The path you choose and the pages you tick are kept in this browser’s own storage. Another device, or a cleared browser, starts fresh. The page works without storage too; it then forgets when you leave.
It is not a mark, and a finished path is not a qualification. Reading about trading does not make anyone ready to trade.
An order to read in, for study. It is not advice or a recommendation, and it does not say that anyone who follows it is ready to trade.
Trading foreign exchange on margin carries a high level of risk, and may not be suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to trade foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose.
