One turn is one day. The rings are the four FX windows, the thin arcs are the exchanges, and the hand is the present moment, read from your device. Set it to UTC or to your own clock.

Computed from your device clock and each venue’s regular weekday timetable. Public holidays and early closes are not reflected. Midnight is at the top and the day runs clockwise. The dark rim marks hours when two FX windows are open together.

What a guide holds
The “sessions” of the foreign-exchange market are conventions: the business days of Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York, laid end to end. Between them they cover almost the whole of a weekday. The stock exchanges are different: each is a venue with published hours.
Every time on these pages is worked out from the same timetable as this site’s clocks, for one or two named reference cities in the region and, on the dial, for your own time zone. The tables show two days, one in January and one in July, because the hours move when the clocks change.
Each guide ends with a list of questions about tax to take to a qualified adviser or your tax authority. The guides give no tax or legal advice and state no rule for any country.
Trading foreign exchange on margin carries a high level of risk, and may not be suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to trade foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose.
