AI at GIO4X
It is the GIO4X AI assistant in the Lens panel, reached from “Ask AI” in the site header or menu; it is labelled where you read it, and nothing else on the site is a language model. This page records what is and is not AI here, whether the assistant is answering now, and the limits it keeps.
This release
“Deterministic” means that the software follows fixed rules written by people. Only the last row below composes sentences, and nothing below was trained on your behaviour. The last row’s status is checked as you read.
Not AI
A small, deterministic search over the site’s own index. It matches symbols, aliases and misspellings by rule. The same query always gives the same result.
Not AI
The same engine with a few fixed prefixes, such as define: and verify:. It does not generate text and does not learn from what you type.
Not AI
Arithmetic on your inputs, with the formula shown. No model is involved.
Live
A language model that answers questions from pages GIO4X has published. It answers in one place, the Lens panel, under “Ask”. “Ask AI” in the site header and menu, “Ask GIO4X AI” in the Help window, and the question boxes on the homepage and the Help & FAQ page all open that panel; none of them answers anything itself. The model is Claude Haiku 4.5, provided by Anthropic. To write an answer, your question, at most the last 3 exchanges of the same conversation and short passages of this website’s own pages are sent to Anthropic, which handles them under its own terms; nothing that identifies you is added. GIO4X does not store your questions or the answers. One thing is counted: how many questions were asked each day, as a number for the day and nothing else. No question, no answer, no page, no address and nothing about you is kept with it, and the number cannot be traced to a person or to a question. Two switches: the assistant is switched on for a release of this website, and GIO4X can also pause it at any moment without changing the website. The status beside this row is asked of the assistant as you read the page: “Live” means it is answering now, “Paused” means it is switched on in this release but not answering at present, and while it is paused the ways in to it are not shown and nothing is sent to Anthropic. A change can take up to half a minute to show. Limits: 600 characters a question, 30 questions a day from one address. Languages: it answers in the language of the question. The pages it answers from are in English, and the sources under an answer are marked “in English” when the answer is not. A question in another language is matched to those pages through this website’s own translated glossary and section names; only when that finds nothing is the question alone sent to Anthropic once more (Claude Haiku 4.5) for a few English search words, under the same limits. The blog: published posts of the GIO4X blog are among the pages it can read. A post is commentary and general information, not investment advice; the assistant may explain a subject from one or say what was written and when, and is told never to repeat a post as a forecast or a recommendation. Voice: where your browser offers speech recognition, a microphone button beside the question box lets you dictate. The recognition is performed by your browser, in some browsers by the browser vendor’s service, and not by GIO4X; the words appear in the box for you to check, nothing is sent until you press Ask, and GIO4X receives only the text you send.
The assistant’s limits
These are commitments. They were published before the assistant existed, so that they could not be shaped around what it turned out to do. All seven are now in force.
Why so narrow
Language models are persuasive. They can state an invented spread, a regulator that does not exist or a confident view on tomorrow’s market in the same even tone as a fact. In a business where people act on what they read with their own money, that is a risk to the client before it is a feature for the broker.
So the order is fixed: the published sources come first, the assistant may only restate them, and where they are silent it says so. The rule that governs the rest of this site applies to it without exception: nothing fabricated.
Platform features described on the platform pages belong to those platforms and their providers. This page covers the GIO4X website only.
When this changes
The assistant is named above, with its model provider (Anthropic), what it can read (pages GIO4X has published) and what it cannot do. Before that changes, or before any other AI feature reaches the public site, this page will say so first. A person is always reachable.
